It's that time of the year again, folks. The TMBSL season is drawing to a close which means that the free for all known as free agency is about to begin. Here are my picks for top talent entering the FA pool this offseason (assuming they don't re-sign, of course)
*All numbers posted are per 36 averages and current at the time of publication
PG
Tyler Ennis (Memphis Grizzlies)- After spending 3 years in Memphis, the veteran Ennis could be on the market again this offseason. He'll be 33 during the 2045 season, but his decline has not been too steep (at least not yet). As long as he's averaging almost 11 ast/36, he'll find somebody willing to give him a shot.
PTS REB AST STL BLK TO FG% FT% 3P% PTS /TSA PER
15.8 4.5 10.2 1.1 0.2 1.9 .453 .837 .346 1.093 17.4
Raymond Townsend (Portland Trailblazers)- Entering his 11th year in the league, Townsend's career has been trending upwards for the last couple of years, which you don't often see for a player his age. He's 32, so you have to be wary of how long he'd hold up, but at a minimum he's worth an MLE if you need a solid starting level PG
PTS REB AST STL BLK TO FG% FT% 3P% PTS /TSA PER
14.8 4.7 10.6 1.0 0.2 1.6 .466 .895 .396 1.079 17.5
Derrick Rose (Dallas Mavericks)- Rose is the best of this year's FA class at the PG position. Rose was a late bloomer, but the light has really turned on for him over the last 3 seasons. Elite defensive numbers, the league leader in assists, TO numbers continue dropping every year, and he's only 25. Because of the positional scarcity and his youth (at least compared to other FA PGs in this class), Rose might be the most valuable asset available this offseason.
PTS REB AST STL BLK TO FG% FT% 3P% PTS/TSA PER
10.0 4.6 13.6 1.7 0.4 1.5 .406 .759 .233 .993 17.1
Butch Lee (Atlanta Hawks)- Butch has been one of the best in the league for a long time now and his max deal with the Hawks comes to an end this year. When he's on the court, his numbers don't reflect any decline in his game, but he's been plagued by injuries for the last 2 years. Butch probably has the highest ceiling of any PG in this year's FA, but he is probably also the biggest risk given his injury history. He'd be a great piece for someone trying to get over the top in the postseason in the next year or two
PTS REB AST STL BLK TO FG% FT% 3P% PTS/TSA PER
20.4 3.3 10.2 1.3 0.1 1.9 .539 .854 .324 1.197 21.0
SG/SF
Reggie Theus, SG (Charlotte Hornets)- Despite being beaten within an inch of his life by his teammates after a dreadful game 7 performance, Reggie is still in the league and is still one of dependable wings in TMBSL since he entered the league 10 years ago. The TOs have always been a little bit high, but the rest of his numbers are plenty serviceable and he's proven that he has the versatility to line up at SF during his time with the Hornets.

16.5 5.0 3.3 1.6 0.3 2.1 .466 .801 .292 1.088 13.5
Rodney Carney, SF (Atlanta Hawks)- Another well established pro, Carney is the prototypical defensive wing. Elite steals numbers, positive bleal ratio, and minimum volume to negate his lack of offensive skill. Best defensive wing in this FA class
PTS REB AST STL BLK TO FG% FT% 3P% PTS/TSA PER
6.2 7.2 2.3 2.0 0.7 1.3 .447 .733 .429 1.044 9.4
Adrian Dantley, SF (Atlanta Hawks)- One of the most efficient offensive players in the league, Datley has been the next best thing to LeBron in the last decade. He's basically a lock to shoot .550/.750/.000 year in, year out while also being an ultra low TO guy and providing solid defense to boot. Rebounding numbers aren't great, but nobody's perfect. It will be interesting to see what his next deal looks like after he made a whopping $21.875M in 2044, good for the second highest salary in the league.
PTS REB AST STL BLK TO FG% FT% 3P% PTS/TSA PER
27.9 4.9 2.5 0.9 0.7 1.4 .577 .828 .000 1.257 22.4
Mario Hezonja, SF (Seattle SuperSonics)- Mario has reached the end of his rookie deal and has established himself as a premier offensive wing in TMBSL. Eligible at the 2 or 3, Hezonja can provide instant offense and rebounding to any team. His efficiency from the field could be a little better, but that's nitpicking. He's good from the charity stripe and decent from 3. His defensive numbers have improved by leaps and bounds over the last 4 years and his TOs aren't terrible. Looks like a max guy to me
PTS REB AST STL BLK TO FG% FT% 3P% PTS/TSA PER
29.7 8.6 2.0 1.4 0.1 1.6 .482 .897 .397 1.143 22.7
Larry Bird, SF (Seattle SuperSonics)- Larry Legend is coming to the end of his max deal and is chugging along the same as ever. Eligible only at 3 due to his height, Bird brings great shooting percentages, volume, and rebounding numbers, but he's always been a high TO guy and he won't provide much defense to offset that, either. Pros still outweight the cons, but like many on this list, franchises will have to wonder how many years the 32 year old veteran has left in the tank
PTS REB AST STL BLK TO FG% FT% 3P% PTS/TSA PER
24.2 8.0 3.5 1.1 0.1 2.6 .494 .918 .351 1.166 19.3
Devin Booker, SG (Sacramento Kings)- Booker is another young wing who looks to be on the way to stardom in this league. He's only 22 but has established that he can provide good scoring volume with good efficiency, solid rebounding, and plus defense while also taking care of the ball. Not much to complain about with this guy. If you need a true SG, Booker is probably your best bet this offseason.
PTS REB AST STL BLK TO FG% FT% 3P% PTS/TSA PER
23.1 5.4 2.6 1.6 0.2 1.0 .485 .964 .392 1.174 19.0
Gene Banks, SG (Cleveland Cavaliers)- Banks has spent 3 years developing with the minor league Cavaliers, but I think he has a bright future as a D/R wing in the league. He's got great size (giving him the versatility be effective at 3 as well) and is smart with the ball. He's got +30 left in his career and if that is spent wisely, he could be a glue guy for years to come.
PTS REB AST STL BLK TO FG% FT% 3P% PTS/TSA PER
11.6 6.3 3.3 0.9 0.2 1.3 .447 .722 .346 1.013 10.8
PF/C
Karl-Anthony Towns, C (Harlem Globetrotters)- Coming off his rookie contract, it's time for KAT to get paid. An elite scorer and rebounder from day 1 in the league, KAT is a franchise center. His TOs are a bit high, but he makes up for it with great blocking numbers. If he doesn't re-sign with the Globes, back up a Brinks truck and hope that he likes the city your team is in because he's the only truly elite and young post player expiring in 2044.
PTS REB AST STL BLK TO FG% FT% 3P% PTS/TSA PER
27.5 14.3 2.4 1.0 2.9 2.6 .530 .831 .133 1.206 26.1
Pascal Siakam, PF (Miami Heat)- Siakam is a stalwart rebounder and provides some defense as well, but you have to deal with some faults to get those talents on your team. His shooting percentages leave a lot to be desired and he has a tendency to be careless with the ball. But if you need boards, he's the best glass specialist available this side of KAT
PTS REB AST STL BLK TO FG% FT% 3P% PTS/TSA PER
19.5 12.8 1.9 1.2 1.2 2.6 .442 .702 .200 1.034 16.9
Myles Turner, C (Phoenix Suns)- Another member of the 2041 draft class who has seen instant success, Turner provides good offensive numbers and pretty solid defense as well. His rebounding is a little bit lackluster and TOs are a bit higher than is ideal, but he's only 22 so he still has time for some strides in his development. Maybe not a max guy because of the relatively small flaws in his game, but a damn good player nonetheless
PTS REB AST STL BLK TO FG% FT% 3P% PTS/TSA PER
26.4 9.6 1.8 0.8 2.2 2.4 .510 .794 .342 1.146 21.2
Bryant Reeves, C (Portland Trailblazers)- After signing an MLE with the Trailblazers in the 2044 FA period, Reeves is back on the market. Just like I said last year, he's an efficient scorer, and he's proven this year to be a very solid rebounder in a starting role with the Blazers. He's 28 right now and someone should be able to get several solid years out of him before he starts to show his age
PTS REB AST STL BLK TO FG% FT% 3P% PTS/TSA PER
20.3 12.0 2.4 1.2 2.0 2.3 .522 .643 .000 1.107 19.0
Jahlil Okafor, C (Chicago Stags)- Okafor has posted solid numbers during his rookie contract, mostly with the minor league Zephyrs, but also showed the ability to do it at the next level while sharing the ball with other legitimate starters during the second half of the 2044 season with the Stags. Good percentages across the board, low TOs, solid defensive numbers. He probably won't be the type of player that leads a team to a championship unless he makes a few more major strides in the coming years, but he should be a very steady contributor even if that doesn't happen
