What do you expect to be cooking in there?
I assume it won’t be meat? Fries? Tater tots?
I have a Gourmia air fryer I use all the time. I like it a lot, but cleaning it is kind of a pain.

We have a ninja 4-quart and it works great
Cleaning isn't even that bad because the grate comes out and can go in the dishwasher

You could purchase some frozen mozzarella sticks and heat them in the air fryer, though I don’t see the outcome there being any different than doing it in a toaster. If you don’t have a toaster then you could get an air fryer and this would work, but a toaster is probably cheaper.

I bet I could smoke some chicken wings (which provides great flavor in the meat, but really sad skin) and then drop them in an air fryer to crisp the skin. Would that work?

They do a good job of crisping up wings. For the most part, I think they're best if you just use a bit of oil, much less than you normally would, and proceed with cooking as normal. I'll make chicken legs/thighs/wings in there pretty frequently and only need a very little bit of oil.
I cook fries in there occasionally too. They're not deep fryer fries by any means, but they get close enough to scratch the itch.

Chop up yukon gold potatoes and do them in there as a side with breakfast occasionally rather than roasting them. Very good for crisping up leftover food.

A little late to the party but the air fryer is producing about 80% of what I eat for lunch and dinner every day. Just find a few seasoning you really like, buy bulk chicken or fish, season whichever you want to eat for lunch the night before, takes 10 minutes to cook. I add lemon, butter, and/or a tad bit of rosemary to it. I like to do 370F for 8-10 minutes when doing fish, 400F for 15 minutes for chicken.
