Trent Forrest PG 6'5" 227 22 Florida State
The winningest player in Florida State history and father of non-profile player Jordan Nwora (also pictured above), Forrest is the embodiment of Leonard Hamilton's "Big Guard U" mindset. A phenomenally strong point guard, Forrest is a lock-down defender who racks up steals at an alarming rate... and those steals generally lead to easy transition buckets. A real leader on the court, Forrest is not concerned with being the leading scorer, just winning. A throwback guard, he scores far better inside than out. He does all the little things necessary to win basketball games. He is a great FT shooter, improving to the mid 80s by his senior year after shooting in the 60s as a freshman and sophomore. His 3pt shot is virtually non-existent and his release is super slow. His floor is high, ceiliing is low... as he doesn't have a lot of room to grow still... but he can absolutely compete in TMBSL for many years as a defensive stalwart and the type of player that doesn't hurt you in your rotation.
