Phil Smith SG 6'4" 191 22 San Francisco
A mid-range assassin, Smith has been a dynamic scorer for the Dons since his freshman season. He scores with a variety of floaters, turn-arounds, and bank shots from all angles. He seems unlikely to adapt well to the long-distance TMBSL 3pt line, but he can make his hay inside that line just fine. He brings solid contributions across the court in many areas, but really lacks an elite defining quality. He passes better than most SGs, he rebounds better than most, he is fairly quick and springy, etc. He's a strong defender on the perimeter, especially with fast reactions that get his feet set to draw charges and swipes that pop the ball loose. He just isn't built to guard up at all, his arms are too short and he is a little light to even handle your average SF in the post. Given the right situation, he could be a strong scorer, but he definitely needs a bit of time to develop.
