I wanted to be mad about this trade at first too but the Oaks gave up 1.1 for last year’s 1.1, a future 1.3, Smits, and Worthy. Not bad.

I wanted to be mad about this trade at first too but the Oaks gave up 1.1 for last year’s 1.1, a future 1.3, Smits, and Worthy. Not bad. not all 1.1s are created equal, e.g. LBJ
KG should come in better than Siakam and be 3 years younger. Smits is 30. The Oaks aren't winning this year 10 games under .500.
Don't get this move at all.

Did you not experience the multi-year meltdown from bk on me having the "Simmons" pick? And how he had the "Rose pick" but surely eric would bust him? |

Garnett's profile isn't very good outside of high potential. Darius Bazley had 100 potential. Remember his sim league career? |

I expect KGs will be fairly decent but you're right, that is an assumption that could turn out to be wrong. Darius Bazley PF 6'8'' 195 18 B- C+ C- B- C+ A So yeah, 18 when he was drafted and good starting grades. And he had 100 potential, per Odin. And it's no guarantee KG even has 100 potential. From what I know and all the players I've scouted, only one that Eric created - Dwight Howard - was built with 100 potential. Even LeBron's was 90. |
