Old rule
A team cannot buyout or amnesty a player after sim 12 until the playoffs end.
New rule
A team cannot buyout or amnesty a player after sim 10 until the playoffs end.
.
Old rule
All picks owed by contracted teams will be made in a supplemental round after half the round rounded up (e.g. after 6 picks in an 11 team draft) in the order of the contracted team's place in reverse winning % the year of their contraction. In case of ties each previous year will be used until the tie is broken. All picks owed to contracted teams will be voided.
New rule
All picks owed by contracted teams will be honored. All picks owed to contracted teams will be voided.

Old rule A team cannot buyout or amnesty a player after sim 12 until the playoffs end. New rule A team cannot buyout or amnesty a player after sim 10 until the playoffs end. As we did not reach a consensus on this I am a bit confused by the implementation.
Now the Buyout/Amnesty deadline is 1 sim AHEAD of Trade Deadline, backwards IMO.

with the deadlines this way the last time a player can join a team outside of direct signings is for sim 11 regardless of avenue there was no consensus on a solution imo because everyone was using different terminology and confusing the issue, but there was a consensus on there being a problem in the first place, and now it's solved
