Ank... why do you think soup reads as town when he plays basically the same whenever he's mafia?

I'm not gonna claim town because it means nothing from any of the remaining players. I will say this: Druce is playing real lowkey... just like he did in Game 2 when he was MAFIA. Soup gets angry whenever challenged on anything, regardless of his status. Go back at look at Game 3 when he was MAFIA. It's his MO all the time. I don't know how that gives him a read as town for anyone. Those are the two most peculiar to me... but honestly I understand Druce not posting, because it's such a crapshoot. I'm gonna stay on soup for now. You should go back and re-read since getting facts wrong appears to be your MO. I got "angry" when people were saying dumb shit like "Soup's not active" while having 10 total posts in the thread.

That's what he does until he's targeted with a vote... then he lashes out. He did it all the time in 4.0 too. He said last game he's not as fiery anymore (and that very well may be true), but I haven't seen evidence of it.

He also had this to say about ankly last time:
[Mar 24, 2020 at 3:28pm TimPig said: He also operated off of a gut feeling.
I don't recall him anywhere presenting actual evidence against me. Not that we have much evidence against anyone at this point.]
Soup: he does that every game and calls them reads. He's wrong more often than not.

How dull is your life that what I've done is considered fiery?

My two closest things to mafia reads now are for druce and canes Druce is playing very uncharacteristically and didn't even contribute a vote the last round Canes has dropped in to just whine about the way the game is set up and play up the hopeless townie card I agree with ank on the read for soup as town because I think killing skrouse was an attempt by the mafia to get everyone to look at soup Ank and delap I've got nothing yet I will absolutely admit that I haven't been great in this game. I honestly don't know where to go. Feels like we are SOL until we hit a mafia. I don't think that reads mafia at all. though last time you grasped at straws to throw suspicion at me, you were mafia. Could you be going back to the same playbook?

Wouldn't be a canes post without more whining about the game setup

mechanics question:
if we miss today... does the game effectively end?
Example: we execute a town member today, mafia makes a kill tonight, that leaves 2 v 2... does that mean the game is over? Eric's rules seem to allow for a 2v2 vote that is settled by RNG... which could theoretically leave a 1v1 RNG the next day.
I know that isn't how games typically run, but his set-up/instructions leave that possibility open.

eric would be the final call, but to my understanding of mafia, the game is over when there is an even number of mafia and town remaining.

ericcan we get a rule clarification? if there is an equal number of players left in town and mafia... is the game over? Or do we play it out?

If we miss today and lose would it make more sense to go no kill and give ourselves another data point and better odds of hitting a maf on our last chance?

Let's talk that out:
Kill on Day 3 (hit town): Mafia kills on Night 3... that leaves 2v2 on Day 4... no vote means mafia kills again on Night 4... then wins on Day 5.

is jhb right then? no kill today?
right now we have a 2/6 (33%) chance of hitting a mafia... no kill today and we have a 2/5 (40%) tomorrow... so a slight improvement. That would then leave 3 players alive on Day 5 and the remaining town would need to sort it out and guess right.
Which scenario is better?

We're not hitting people at random anymore.

In a game with no power roles we are, but ok

If we hit town day 3, the game is over. Exactly, do you want to give yourself just a little more of a chance to narrow your shot down instead of going all in now

If you think that, I'm not sure why you're signing up to even play mafia.

Exactly, do you want to give yourself just a little more of a chance to narrow your shot down instead of going all in now I think we roll the dice today and just make a kill. The downside to making no-kill is you allow mafia to choose who the 3 remaining townies will be. for the 3 vs 2 situation.

the percentages are basically the same when you consider I'm confirmed town.
I'll be killed tonight.
