Seems like lots more folks are online for more hours during the day, which I am going to attribute at least in part to many of us working from home.

I thought this might be a good time for a mafia game, for old time's sake?

eric has volunteered to host in the past, but I don't want to put that on him since he is still working in the office and also has all the commish stuff to do.

@bkisok would you do it? Maybe we could start with a semi-vanilla game with only a few roles to get back in the swing of it?

I could do it with these possible roles:

NOW WITH REWARDS: 5k for being an alive winning team member, 1k for being a dead winning team member!

Town (4 Possible Roles)
Sheriff:

Searches one player at night. The sheriff is told whether the player is Mafioso. (Godfather appears as non-suspicious to the sheriff).

Doctor:

Heals one player at night. Cannot heal self.

Knows if target is attacked - (On)

Mayor:

Mayor is a unique role that allows the player to reveal themselves during the day as the "Mayor". Once the mayor is revealed their votes count for extra, and they are a confirmed town.

Votes count for 3 - (On)
Votes count for 4 - (Off)
Cannot be healed - (On)

Citizen:

One-time use bulletproof vest - (On)
Win tie-game situations against Mafia - (On)

Mafia (2 Roles)
Godfather:

Invulnerable at night - (On)
Immune to detection - (On)
Can kill without Mafioso - (On)

Players are notified if they were attacked at night.

Mafioso:

Typical mafia member. Can talk to each other and Godfather at night. Godfather makes the final decision on who to kill.

Numbers of Town/Mafia would depend on number of people signed up.

It seems unlikely anyone else is going to sign up, unless Mike or Kujo do, but they would probably just make the game worse by not participating regardless of role (sorry).

I'll send out role assignments later today and post up the Day 1 thread but then make the night 1 deadline tomorrow morning [unless anyone posts a conflict before then].
