Dirk Nowitzki has the most minutes played of any NBA player in history to only play for one franchise with a cool 51,368. Here is the active top five in that category (although some of these names stretch the term "active" to its breaking point): 23,971 - Stephen Curry 21,903 - Damian Lillard 21,529 - Udonis Haslem 20,545 - John Wall 20,340 - Klay Thompson This is Curry's 11th(!!!) year. Since it's unlikely he plays another 11 or suddenly starts enjoying better health, he probably won't even catch the great Tim Duncan for #5 with 47,368 minutes. Klay is older than you think too; this would be his 9th season if he could play. Haslem has played 547 minutes over the past FIVE seasons (for a cool $11.1m; keep gettin' dem checks big fella) Wall Which leaves Lillard as the only plausible candidate to even reach top five, since he's only in year eight and has no serious injury history to speak of, having played at least 73 games in every one of his first seven seasons. The problem there is Portland is garbage (amazingly Carmelo's .02 WS/48 and negative VORP weren't the answer) so it can't be long before they hit the reset button, and even though Lillard is guaranteed $54m five years from now 👀 it shouldn't be that hard to move an elite point guard, and that would leave them with just McCollum on the books next summer. Pop the corks Dirk, you deserve it
