An older player, having left Detroit a year ago and played in TMABASL for a season, scouts say that Haywood is the most prepared draftee in TMBSL history (post-creation) and is ready to contribute on Day 1. He led the USA! USA! USA! to Olympic gold 2 years ago so he has performed on the biggest stage in the world previously. In college he was a volume scorer and rebounder, which he repeated in the TMABASL, where he earned ROTY and MVP honors. He looks to repeat his success in the more professional, better organized, more competently commissioned TMBSL now. He brings a traditional PF game to the league, so don't expect him to pass the ball, bring it up the court, or anything like that. He also rarely goes out of his way to challenge shots, preferring to settle in for a solid box out and rebound, should the shot miss.
