A real prodigy, earning his Doctorate in Basketball in only 2 years at UMass, Erving enters the league as one of the most exciting players in the class. Known for his high-flying, Erving ran roughshod over the "Yankee" Conference and amassed an absurd number of rebounds. Many peg him as the best rebounding wing to enter the league in years. Despite those skills, his jumpshot has very limited range and he rarely attempts anything further than 14'. His passing is subpar, on the rare times he even willingly gives it up. He hasn't been known as a stud defender thus far, even against weak competition. It will be a big ask for him to be known for defense at the next level.
