Projected to go undrafted just a year ago, Starks has rocketed up draft boards after his only season in major college basketball. As a Cowboy he showed excellent strength for his size and finished inside regularly among the bigs. His jumper overall could use some work, but he hit free throws pretty well. He is an old-school type, eschewing the 3pt line regularly. On defense, his size keeps him from blocking shots or guarding men down low, but he keeps guys in front of him well and rarely allows drives to the rim.
