- Selected with the 25th pick of the 6th round of the Creation Draft by the Orlando Magic, agreeing to terms on a three-year deal with the team
- Before he could finish even a single season with the team that selected him, he was traded alongside Udoka Azubuike and 3 first round picks for Gerald Martin Johanssen and Zeus Shuttlesworth
- He tested free agency following the expiration of his creation contract and agreed to return to the Kings for a 7 year max contract
