Shown here demonstrating his perfect free throw form, Pettit dominated the SEC and led the league in scoring for 3 consecutive seasons. Averaging 17 boards/game as a senior, Pettit is a highly coveted prospect with the ability to score in bunches. However... he really can't jump all that well, so his scoring comes from a whirlwind of post moves and a steady parade to the FT line, where he excels. He's not a bad defender, but his efforts are absent from the traditional box score, where you won't see steals or blocks from old #50.
