"Bassy" has been anointed by the national press as the high schooler to watch, despite there being a strong handful in this class that could make a solid counter-argument. He certainly looks the part against his competition in the NYC... but can his game translate against older, more seasoned players that don't fall for his dribble-fakes? He is lightning-fast and is a superb handler of the ball... but there are other variables to consider. He simply doesn't like to tussle inside... only scoring at the rim in transition in high school... preferring to run the offense and avoid bigs at the rim. Most GMs simply aren't sure what to think of Bassy and his skillset... he could be amazing... or not.
