theres a thread on 4.0 about it tim, worth while to check that out
THere is alot more flexibility in the new software, alot of it we would likely want to set standards on

New software isn't necessarily better, is more complex, and doesn't have a similar output so people found the box scores, etc. difficult to read and understand and difficult to set team DC's, etc.
We know this software and it's easy to use and maintain
That's why this has been going on for over 6-7 IRL years.

pros of new software
1. anyone with a copy of the software can set their own dc 2. resigning negotiations 3. better overall date system (actual calendar, not some arbitrary number of days) 4. more flexible player building 5. not being locked into 29 teams 6. and many more

also, i'm confident eric/bk can make halfway decent replacement html pages without any issue. which, at the end of the day, was the biggest problem with 3.0

If we can have like...22 teams that'd seem to be for the best.

ok, then we manually dumb it down. we can legit just not use some features if they're too complex. like all of the financial bullshit

I lean toward the new software... but I'm team go-with-the-flow on this topic.

I was one of the very few that had no issues when the software switched so I’m gonna say no but I don’t really care too much.
