Scouts are buzzing over the potential of the young O'Neal, whose game is a bit of a throwback to big men of yesteryear. He's a low-post man through and through, including the defensive side of the game, where he excels as a one-on-one player in the post. He isn't quick to help or react to screens, but can lockdown opponents solo. Like many bigs, his handling is weak and he won't ever be a player to stretch out past 15 feet. Should have plenty of time to add weight to a skinny frame... but one that could handle an extra +5 or 3 before he turns 25.
