A silky jumper allows him to be a bit different than most big men of his class. His free throw stroke is beautiful, but scouts are conflicted about his ability to stretch it out to the professional 3pt line. Silas has put together astonishing stat lines vis a vis rebounding while at Creighton... he sees every shot (on both ends) as an opportunity for him to go get a board. However, on defense, he is much more concerned with rebounding positioning than anything else... so he won't chase blocks, pursue deflections, or even fight hard on post-ups. He giveth and he taketh.
