2020 hiring window open
A team may hire one assistant coach for 5000 dump bucks between the beginning of the draft and sim 1.
That coach will be employed from sim 1 until the end of the playoffs.
Current options are:
strength and conditioning coach - allows team to run Very Fast pace (otherwise illegal)
defensive coordinator - allows team to Always trap (otherwise illegal)
physiotherapist - reduces any existing injuries by three days at end of sim (# for regular season, round for playoffs)
sports scientist - increases yearly GM upgrade cap by five (upgrades must still be purchased)
social media consultant - increases box score rewards by 50% (applied to total at end of the year, rounded up)
director of scouting - all rookies drafted by the team receive +10 potential
Multiple teams can hire the same type of assistant coach.

He will be paid 5000 TimPig units for his service. He made nearly $290,000,000 in his playing career, so he is happy to accept speculative currency for his salary at this time. He joins other former Mavs Killian Tillie (Director of College Scouting, who discovered the unheralded Kyrie Irving at a small Christian, liberal-arts school in Durham, NC) and Michael Young (Head Janitor, who saved the organization lots of money by suggesting single-ply toilet paper) in the non-playing side of the organization. the hiring window always opens at the beginning of the draft I believe every year since assistants were instituted there has been a formal announcement that the period opens. If this is a new rule, that's fine. I was initially waiting for the aforementioned announcement, especially since there had been discussion about adding additional assistants. |

After the league overstepped its bounds and forced Cam Reddish into working against his will, the Chicago Bulls would instead like to hire Dwight Schrute as Assistant to the Coach in the role of Physiotherapist.
