If he wins, he has more dead weight contracts. I'd call it a gentleman's bet, but Muzunga doesn't really fit the bill. |

For posterity, here is how it went down. I texted Muzunga telling him it is a shame he didn't have any decent expiring contracts because I wanted to make an offer of Daniel "16+ win shares" Taurasi for Vince "5 win shares last year when he was scoring 31 per game but is now scoring a lot less" Carter or Giannis Youknowhislastnamebo. He shows up in shout trying to shame me for considering an offer of Taurasi for VC or Giannis. Ian says that Taurasi for VC would have been a good trade for Fecta because it almost guarantees him the championship for the next few years. Fecta says DT is not that much better than VC. Ian disagrees. Fecta says, and I quote, "I bet Vince is within 2 win shares of Taurasi this year." I said I'd be down to bet. Fecta says "Oh ya, what?" I suggest the bet above. ..... ..... Crickets. ...... I ask Fecta if he wants to make that bet. ...... Crickets. Someone breaks the palpable silence of everything awkwardly wondering if Fecta really is that bitch made. He responds to that comment, but doesn't comment on the proposed bet. I post this thread and link to it. Fecta laughs it off. I mock Fecta in shout for being all bark and no bite. Talk loudly and carry a little stick was always Fecta's motto. That about sums it up. |

I think betting picks should probably be avoided and decided on a case by case basis but this particular one seems like it wouldn't fuck the league and also be funny.
