Kevin Duckworth signed for 4.5 mil instead of 30 mil over 7 years? Interesting to say the least.

I guess that's good to know like 40 seasons into sim league :killme:
So basically % increases etc are only useful when doing max offers. Otherwise, its negligible?
If there are two offers:
A: 4.25mil, 1 year, 0% B: 4mil, 6 years, 5%
Offer A is almost always the best offer in this software?

Most likely, yes. We've known that for quite awhile.

Most likely, yes. We've known that for quite awhile. Ah well I've never known or been told. No worries. Good to know. Might be worth putting some of the unwritten software intricacies/thoughts/oddities into the "For the Noobs" article if we still have it. I wouldn't have known unless I was bitching this specific time about this specific contract and player.

The best Kings team ever gets better! It did. Egbunu on a min is a huge steal for me for a 2nd year on a row. Spotting him in as my 3rd big is what turned my season from .400 to .600

Dumb question but these signings are in order right? I offered two MLEs and they both signed.....but I was technically under the soft cap when the second person signed the MLE. The next person who signed was on bird rights so I went over the soft cap. I assume the 2nd MLE becomes NOT an MLE at that time because it was under the soft cap?

I sent you a PM telling you you had too much cap for an MLE and that I just offered both a 1 year 4.5 mil deal
