I understand any reasonable GM would have started a healthy Julio - but where does this end? What if I'm at church Sunday morning and don't see that Elliott, who was rumored to be hurt and I had on my bench, is actually starting? Do I get a do over because I was observing the sabbath instead of watching ESPN Sunday morning?

Almost all of us were proactive enough to set our line ups (I had two players starting last night).

Oh damn. This is interesting. I'll have a decision made by end of Saturday so that Fecta can add another wr if needed.

I'm a bit conflicted to be honest. I know the draft was rushed to finish in time but it was finished Wednesday night with a lot of notice. Everything was entered in at 10pm on 9/5. Between that period and the start of the Thursday game Fecta posted 5 times at different hours. I would have to assume that he was aware the draft was over and that the season started on Thursday.

I have unfortunately missed players on Thursday games or even a 1pm game on accident and I feel like that's what happened here. I was never given an option to reinsert a player after. I'm sure if Julio scored 5 points we wouldn't even be discussing this.

However I am fair and I am willing to listen to any and all arguments for why this should be allowed.

I mean I feel like the first game of the season mere hours after the end of the draft is a unique situation. I had the same thing in the 720 dynasty league for our rookie draft this year and I announced beforehand to PM the players you'd want in your lineup for that game. That was mostly edge cases though because the only players they didn't have ample time to start were rookies or free agents. In this case it would be obvious he would start Julio and not being available in a small window that wasn't predefined is not a fault.

I literally had no idea the draft ended. He was my first round pick and in any other format he would have been starting on my roster, I didnt know I needed to set my entire roster until I looked yesterday morning.

Bump. I didnt put anyone else in my lineup because I didnt want to you think that I was conceding Julio's points.
